Hey Lexx. . . . . I am chuffed that you really dig the Solar Charger. (I told u it was good, hey?)

Its a sleek little unit that packs a punch. I open mine up and sit it on the outdoor setting while I read the Newspaper, and have a cuppa. Then after an hour or two I go out and grab it, fold it shut, and have it handy for when the power dies while Im playe GTA, then plug the little sucker in and keep on goin.

Thanks for the good wrap, I do my best to keep a happy customer, but it really isnt much effort, as the stuff I sell is top rate, and I look at it this way, "If I wouldnt use it myself, I wont sell it". Simple.

Cheers bro

EDIT: I got some new stuff since ur last visit, I got:

[X] 3D Graffix Face/Backplates,

[X] Black Leather Cases

[X] Aircraft Alloy Armour Cases, that have the slots so it can be charged N' Data'd as well as Played, while still in the case. (Logitech Playgear Clone)

Hi se7en. . . I guess the correct wording for the 3D Graffix would be skins.

They are lazer cut (precision) and are extremely thin, yet have a slight padded vinyl feeling to them.

They are helographic, and have a harlequin (change colour from black to purple as you move them) effect to them

As with the HORI screen protectors, these skinz have a silicone based adherent which means they can be used countless times, so long as they are applied and removed in the correct manner, and they are guarunteed not to leave sticky residue, or void your PSP warannty, as you do not need to open the machine, and unscrew thingsz etc etc

Cut N' Paste my Signature URL to find out more, they are only $12.95 (I might put the price up a little, just seeing how popular they will be, being a new product and all).

yup definitely rocks my PSP 3800mah clip on battery arrived from Djaye

Only prob with product is lack of manual or details about charging. Are you meant to charge the 3800mah twice with the Sony PSP adaptor to get full charge ? As i tried charging the internal bat when it was near depleted with 3800mah and only got 50% charged ?

Thats a good question.

When it comes to batteries (this is not the same rule for chargers), think of them like a rainwater tank, the larger the tank, the more rainwater is needed to fill it.
IE a 1000 litre tank will take twice the time to fill, as would a 500 litre rainwater tank.

Now, back to batteries. The stock standard Sony internall battery is 1800mAh (Micro Amp Hour) or (Milli Amp hour).

The external clip on battery is 3800mAh, which is over twice the amount of stored energy than your Sone internal battery. However, being able to ontain twice the juice as your internal battery, it takes twice the time to fully charge it.

I recommend charging over night when you first use it, and dont let it run completely dry for the first few weeks of having it. After that, full cycles of Charge and discharge will be fine.

You have to understand that this is the first time energy has been stored in the battery, and it takes a few charges to get the molecules moving and operating in the correct and opt

DOUBLE POST

After reading your question again, I was to understand that you are trying to charge your internal battery with the charged clip-on battery.

This can be done, but it is a very uneconomical way of going about it. They are primarily designed to be used as an emergency, or back-up battery that you clip-on when the internal battery is about to run dry.

As written above, the still need to be "run in".

You mentioned in your question, that "it (internal battery)was only charged 50%" (by the clip-on battery). That would be totally correct, because what you are doing is similar to "Jump Starting" a car

The inernal battery is 1800mAh and the clip-on is 3800mAH. That means the clip-on has to push against 1800mAh, and only has 2000mAh to spare. (IE 3800mAh - 1800mAh = 2000mAh) Very much like the old balance scales, if you have equal weights on both sides, it will be level/equal. (no ability to charge).

Now, divide that (2000mAh) by 2, and this (1000mAh) would equal the total amount of charge which would equal or better a 50% charge. (Which is exactly what you said has happened.

It is hard to explain here in a chat room, but using that method is not the economical way of going about things, it is far better to use it as a back-up battery as mentioned above.

Both methods give you the same outcome, however, one method is cheaper (clip on battery), and the other method is dearer (2 genuine internal batteries).

$20 Clip-on Battery, or 2 x $50 Sony Internals ($100) = Same amount of Gaming time

The geuine batteries will probably last a bit longer, but, in my opinion, the money saved with the clip-om battery outweighs the fact it may not live as long as an internal.

Hi Warhead, long time no see. Yeah, I'm slowly getting more and more items. I stock about 80% of what I think are essential accessories, there is a lot of crap out there, and items like the Datel Hard Drive which have very little profit in them, which I steer clear of.
