Nah, LP are ok. They've gone down the gutter in recent years (I noticed imminent doom upon releasing Meteora and Live in texas) but they still have some great songs off their Hybrid Theory album and before that (their demo/underground stuff). They used to be my fav band back when I was 12 or 13.
