okay i found something a bit odd
when i charge my PSP battery with the PSP it takes approx 3 hours to charge full from flat.
when i charge my PSP battery with the Battery Charger it takes approx 1.5 hours to charge full from flat.
how come the battery charger charges faster? also when it finishes chargin from the battery charger.. i put the battery back into the psp and then when i plug it into the powerpoint.,, it also starts charging the battery too.. how can the battery b charging when its already full ?

i got both PSP & DS =P but no games :( hahaha

because when you charge using the 'rapid charger', the battery isn't in the PSP, thus it is not being used whilst charging.
and when you take it out of the 'rapid charger' and place it into the PSP, there has been a slight amount of power that has been used and therefore the PSP will think that it is not full and start charging (you may think the battery is full but in reality it isn't)

oh yeh thanks...
coz once the battery is charged with the rapid charger..
it only takes another 10 minutes of charging when i put it back into the psp
:)

think of it like a mobile phone, if you charge the battery with a rapid charger then put it into the mobile phone and charge it directly with a charger into the phone, it will take another 5 minutes to charge again because there has been a slight loss of power.

Music's fine I don't have a problem playing mp3
maybe I should invest in spare battery.

It really depends on what game ur using, i use the battery save option whenever the game has it. (so no music and less spec. effects)
Some games barely use any battery power, for example Splinter Cell: Essentials, i can play for an hour and a half straight and from fully charged it will only go down to 95%.

the battery is ok for me but i saw this battery in toys 'r' us and it was like 20% more than the normal battery. it was a sony aswell. think it was about $65-70

yer splinter cell is good cause it doesnt use much battery. I am looking at buying a 2200 mAH or a 2600 mAH because they are the right size to fit into psp. I would like a really long life battery but they are too big and stick out the back of ya psp!

Its cool, the answer is delivered well by Huey! Go you good thing! Mine still takes 2 hrs. Which is great and it lasts forever even with GTA.
