Dang this game is hard!! For me at least:P I'm on a one star mission, and i keeped geting cained by these blue things, then by these pig things:( Mayb because i'm using this massive sword? Ahh well..

I used to struggle with Velociprey, now I can mow down packs of Iopreys with minimal problem. GS is not the best beginner weapon, try the Sword&Shield and learn to combo, and you can roll away in between slashes if you see something lunging at you. You can roll with a GS, but SnS is quicker.
You do this with SnS:
Jump in (either f+^ (Triangle) when sheathed, or []+^ when in attack mode)
into
up to 4 ^'s
into
O which is the combo ender and you can roll (X) in between attacks even after the combo ender. You can end the roll into more chains as well.
For example f+^, ^, ^, left+X, ^, O, right + X, etc

outside the guild hall is an old midget guy talk ot him for the missions 4 u. (i use the huge sword 2, so its ok)

Cool thnx for your advice guys! I just passed the mission i was on, and done the next one after that. I've nearly done all 9 mission's that the old codger has, their right in what they say about learning the animals patterns and such.
I'll be sure to work on the combos and roll around heaps to get out of trouble.

i got the seigmund and the drominail seigmunds 863 power and as heaps of green and drominails a dual sword its the one that the guy on the back of the box things holdin in the velociprey mask and i got full diablo armor

Oh yeah, has anyone got full prey armour, and I mean the ones like Genprey mask, torso and legs? What happens when you equip it and you walk up to some Genpreys and Wyverns?

although the ps2 game was the shittest game ever and was not released in Australia, the psp version is okay : ), but yeh it's a pretty popular game on this site
