It's starts off as metal SnS, from Assasin's Dagger you go to Poison Axe to Poison Battle Axe. You need poison sacs, medium bones and rubber hides, you get them mostly from Gypceros.

I set up a mine bomb facility in Kokoto Farm and just kept mining in the desert and jungle areas for Machalite. One time I used a large barrel bomb in Kokoto and got 5 Machalite Ores, just enough get me the Gospel Katana.
