To be fair it is pretty much slash and run. i would suggest Tales of Eternia if want somthing a little more RPG Ish

Tales of Eternia is good untill you hav fin it 1 time it just ends so bad it let me dow but its a gr8 game

huey to beat rath just study his moves and always hit him in the head after a few combos roll away(if ur using a SnS).. wen rath spins fast he gna charge so run away wen he spins slowly he will do a fireball. run from the side and just hack his head.. use pitfalls if u want and falsbombs work good too.. hope it helps

Use pitfalls for Rathalos, carry the combo books with you along with trap tools and nets to (help) ensure you combine one successfully. Nothing more frustrating than getting garbage when you've spent so much effort weakening it. I'd use a PBA over Gospel, which made it easier.

If you have the room, get a large and small bomb, pitfall the Rath, set the big one, then the little one, run off then come back and slash it's head some more after the explosions. Oh and avoid fighting Rath in that narrow area of F&H, no room for you to dodge it's charges and a great chance of getting trapped against the wall and messing up the camera angles.
