Well they can't make it any smaller or else the buttons wouldn't fit or you're hand would cramp up...
And slimmer?? The thing would snap in half whenever you gripped it too tight...
I reckon any next gen PSP's should be the same size, just with added features (second analogue maybe)...

all i can make out for sure is that sony are intending to use NAND flash memory from Samsung Electronics in the second half of this year, and sumthing about 8gb internal mem.
The way i see it is that if the PSP is using 8 GB of flash memory and not an HD you're looking at a ton of money. Especially since Apple is buying flash memory as fast as it can be made, so the supply is restricted to Apple's leftovers.
Where are you guys getting your info from i want to know
From a retail point of view the psp is still selling well and is no where near its sell by date. therefore in my opinion it would be silly to release a new handheld when there is still money to be made.
also sony have spend to much in the UMD market and i would presume that wed be stuck with this media therefore our overall gameplay wug not change as the game wil be in the same format as prior to the 'next gen console'

something about the umd drive will be different, the umd's might go straight into the console. and maybe a camera

PSP is doing very well in Japan, even better than the xbox360.Sale figures in Japan.
1 Nintendo DS Lite 12 million units
2 PSP 10 million units
3 XBOX360 135,000 units
I think it would be foolish to release a PSP2 anytime soon or until 2008.There's still plenty of games still to come out.Its all speculation at the moment.And if they were to release a new playstation portable next year I would consider to bite the bullet and upgrade to the PSP2 (Trade in of course) or entirely forget about portable gaming alltogether.

they would make it more user - friendly, like being able to listen to music and play a game at the same time and stuff. Then they deffinately would have a second analog stick.
Maybe it's going to be more like an ipod or mp3 since the games have been such a dissapointment

i wouldnt say all the games have bean disapointing, only half have id say, but if there going to add things to the next psp, where u gotta buy stuff, like those ipod card things then im not gonna buy one, but otherwise, they would have 2 make a pretty different console, cant think what theyd have on it, cus my psp allready is full of stuff to do hey
