The firmware required may have changed, it was 1.52 for it's release but it may be a higher requirememnt now if they have changed what they burnt onto the disk.... If you get what I mean

i got ridge racer last monday....great game...i got it for platinum price but it was an old version (no cheapo looking disc for me )

I think your better off finding a bargain on eBay if your looking for old games like ridge racer, lumines, wipeout all that cause nobody wants them anymore. Seen them going for cheap on eBay

there the same games!! or do u mean the box and umd? im not sure bout umd cos i havnt seen 1...box is same except cover art is framed, topo is dark sivler not white, and the plastic box itself is dark silver with glittery bits on it.
