I'm on holiday in Japan at the moment, and picked up this little gem today. AU$300!!!
Square button is definately better, and NO DEAD PIXELS!!!! The white looks great (not yellow like in pics, bad lighting where I was taking pics) and does not show fingerprints anywhere near as bad as the black. Pretty well invisible. Much better DPad than the Aussie PSP too.

Lol, yeah its pretty cheap for the PSP. You can get the black one in Singapore for AU$250 standard pack or AU$280 for Value Pack  White is AU$370 in singapore though. Black was same price as white here in japan.

Lol. I am going to sell my black one on eBay. It is literally brand new. I may throw in my Jap RR to sweeten the deal. I don't really play RR that often anymore.
Took a couple more GOOD pics, that really show off the whiteness. Will post in a few minutes.

I'd conly consider one because newer PSPs seem to be built better. EG, the WLAN button is more secure, D-PAD isnt as spongey, no off center [_] button.
Mitchello: How are you finding it goes with fingerprints, and dirt showing on the white?

Other than the screen, it doesnt show any fingerprints. A lot cleaner than the black one. And yes, it seems to be built better too. dpad, square and now that you mention it wifi button are all studier.
