Maverick Hunter X is a remake of the classic SNES Mega Man X game. Capcom did a great job in remaking this game from head to toe.
Your job as Mega Man is to save the world from being controlled by leader of the Mavericks, Sigma. As you go through levels and defeat bosses, X learns new moves and finds new upgrades, which are hidden throughout the game.
The graphics leave the old school Mega Man gamers like myself in awe, and the story line, as it stays quite the same to the previous version, differs in ways so that you dont get bored. I myself havent done so yet.
The game also has a few new features on board which extend the games life and entertainment level. These new features include:
-Vile mode. (X's rival who once you complete the game with X you can control yourself and play through his eyes.)
-Unlockable movie.
-New sound effects.
-New soundtrack.
Overall a fun game for newcomers to the Megaman series, or the oldies who are returning to the game.
I give it a 4/5.
