Nothing on this site was actually responsible, if you look at the news article, Roy said that mygames, myds, mypsp ,mywii and my360 are all on the same server in america!

And a mod chip for the wii was being advertised on mygames so the server admin just pulled the sites down!

luckily roy fixed it and we're good!
