There aren't many Sony brand memory sticks from Australian sellers on eBay. Those that I have seen are no-where near 8gb.

I have a 2gig High speed, and 2 4gig normals, the high speed transfers at 80mb a sec and the normal ones transfer at 10mb a sec, so you can see a big difference, i have noticed any game around the 800mb mark laggs, thats why i got a high speed card, for comp play and online.

as far as i know there arent 4gig high speeds yet, all though i have a pic of one i think its fake, i know there aren't 8gig high speeds, I have seen 8gig sticks for about $179 USD plus shipping, I got my two 4 gig sticks for $50 each, there imports (still work) and my 2 gig high speed for $32, from the local Computer swap meet, www.comtrader.com.au. it wouldnt be wise to get an 8gig just yet, i would hold out for a while. a couple of 4 gigs should do. also look for High Speed. it copys much faster and load times are improved
