I haven't done this in over a year, but from memory i used ImToo DVD ripper and PSPVideo9. ImToo's trial version only allows you to rip 5 minutes or soemthing, so you'll either have to pay for the full version, find another program that is freeware, or 'find' a full copy...

PSP video 9 is free. Google them both.

You will not need firmware 1.5 for that.

However, you should NOT upgrade. As you will at some point need to downgrade if you wish to put your UMD's onto you're memory stick. I have absolutely no idea how to do that, although i'm sure in about an hour or so, once everyone's home from school, you'll get some good help.

I may take you up on that a little later as I need to upgrade my memory stick, thanks, mate.
you guys are a wealth of knowledge and I thank you.

i am unable to download PSP video 9 as it wont go through the cache. If someone was to burn that to CD and send it to me I would be more than happy to pay for a disk and postage.

I cant access youtube either. Spewing!
