where you typing msipl.bin it should be the full path like J:\msipl.bin (msipl.exe path[space]psp drive letter[space]msipl.bin path) example = C:\msipl.exe F C:\msipl.bin!

sounds 2 me like you got the installer app in the wrong game folder! game or game150? or your trying to use sony firmware which in't capable of homebrew, you hafta use a psp on 1.50 sony firmware or a psp with custom firmware to install the battery files.
