Make love, not war - 9/10
The Change from 1st person to 3rd person was very unexpected, however this game still feels as killzone as ever, and I'm more then happy with this game in a lot of ways! The graphics were sweet, the Audio had all the EXPLOSIONS and gunfire to feel like your in a war and the story line was very ... killzone (which is generally a good thing) and the multiplayer was a whole new thing all together.
GRAPHICS: Steady, sweet frame rate. Awesome jaw dropping renders, great looking explosions, very smooth and fun graphics. They depicted the war torn environments perfectly, Character models are strong and the ragdoll physics on the bodies make this game even more exciting! i'd say a fair 9/10 for the smooth framerate, and just great graphics for a game on the PSP.
AUDIO: BOOM, Huge bass filled explosion, roaring shotguns and the loud boom of sniper rifles make this game feel even more warlike! With a bit of light music and some awesome sound effects this isn't the kind've game you'd really care about the audio, still sounds great 9/10,
GAMEPLAY: Well, i can honestly say this is defiantly one of the best 3rd person / action adventure game on the psp. The controls are easy to use and the game dosen't take long to feel like home at all! Many different game objectives and even light squad based combat, Can get a little difficult, but its a all round great game. 9/10 for gameplay.
STORYLINE: Lets just say its killzone on your psp. Shoot the Helghast, listen to some chick who sounds british, you know what its like... right? right? A really solid effort with free expansion coming out soon, couldn't ask for more 10/10.
MULTIPLAYER: Ad-hoc is just kickass, Several different modes and cool maps, there is carnage everywhere! And Killzone liberation is getting a downloadable patch within the next few months to allow INFRASTRUCTURE (online) gaming! Also featuring 2 player co-op (however, cutscenes a little laggy) and the graphics seem downgraded to some extent, still a pretty solid multiplayer game 8/10.
This makes one awesome game, Pretty flexable, has a decent length seperate game modes! Defiantly one of the better titles to come to the psp, if your pondering to buy this, i'd say truck yes! a great 9/10 for this awesome title!
