thats the cartridge being ejected by the gun after being shot, the cartridge contains the gun powder and the actual bullet is attached to that, and then a little hammer hits the cartridge and that causes a mini explosion in the gun barrel in the cartridge which sends the actual bullet flying out of the gun and then the cartridge gets ejected out of the gun.

Right you are Drexl and great description on what happens when a bullet is fired. People often mistake that the entire bullet and its cartridge container is what hits a person.

thats cause when you watch cartoons with guns they show the whole bullet, like on roger rabit were the bullets even have a moustache and are wearing a hat's.
