IBM cant make a G5 chip that will run cool / quietly enough to fit inside a note book (that's why ALL Mac notebooks are still only G4's. Intel said they could do it if apple (who own the rights to the IBM G5 chip) allowed Intel to use the patent.
Thus in 3 years time ALL PC users are going to have waaaayyy powerful machines... It's win win for All... (except those crazy Mac guys who will complain about it)
