Cheers guys, yeah, shes a cool looking boat alright, but you would be surprised to know she was launched in 1972. Making it a bit over 33 years old.
But its made of GRP (Fibreglass) which is virtually indestructable, and ageless. (Unless you run it up on rocks, they dont like that too much). Also osmosis of the gel coat, caused by exposure to the sun, and not taken care of by regular applications of protectants. But this boat has been well cared for.
You cant see in the pics, but in the forward cabins is a Toilet, shower with pressurised hotwater system. I will post a few more pics up later, I didn't want to spam a dozen pics in one posting.
Jo3l, I found a sattelite service supplier, which is not too exspensive. Its about $160 per month, broadband.
There are some limitations, and you have to buy your own dish. I have seen a popular dish used in marine envoirnments, it is like a fibreglass dome, with the dish inside it, and motorised so it constantly fixes in one position automatically, regardless to the direction of the boat. (Looks Like Doplar Radar Dome)
