I have scratches all over my psp - its been handled roughly a bit but no dead pixels. It is still as sweet as the day I got it. I don't have major scratches on the screen but am looking to invest in some screen protectors.

To date, I have not had any dead pixels either!

well, taking the memory stick out will make it the same as all others, except for the wallpaper which is all the memory the psp can hold.
