PSP Software & Firmware \ UMD, IDSTORAGE PROBLEMS

Hey guys, ive just started to pick up my psp-1000 in the past month (beacase of all the cool new games) tho i have one problem, my umd does not work,its defiantly not a faulty drive.... i think the id keys for the umds are stuffed, i tried to yous Despertar del Cementerio v8 to regenerate them.. but the umd still dose not work, is it beacuse in DC8 there is only europe,america,japan as regions.. and because my psp was bought in Australia, it has that as its region.. makeing it impossible to regenerate my umd keys?

As soon as i put in my umd.. it sais 'disk cannot be read'

Im desperate to play some of these new games, plz help me!!

BTW IM CURRENTLY RUNNING 5.50GEN-D2, ON A PSP 1000
