Is it, is it, is it!?

I have seen next to no positive reaction, our poll has four out of 27 people that actually own it: www.mypsp.com.au/

The first week they sold only 1000 units, 1000!? My school had more people than that, and this is a whole country we're talking about?!

The negatively named discussion threads here are in abundance, whilst there is no positive ones.

I know this is not all that much to base it off, but is it really that bad of a reception? Do we hate it that much?

And they took hardware out.

Plus you have to pay to download games. In countries where the Internet is fast like Japan/USA it might work, but not in most of the world.

Yes, but they also put 16GB of memory in it, and I believe this would cost around $150 to $170 to obtain, so the price is still fair.

It's quite possible.

It's a weird thing the GO, it would be very blizzard to upgrade to it.

But its a good entry for new players with the huge PSP back catalog.

But then that's let down as you can easly read about a stack of games on the net that are not available on the AUS PSP store. Whats the poit of downloads if you still can get everything

And the games are expensive in comparison. I guess the thinking at Sony is if they can buy a GO the will just pay whatever we say.

I didn't think it would matter but I've never thrown away a gamebox and I've only traded in the really crap ones. I was looking at all my old PC games from the 90's. Sure the disks don't work anymore and hardware wouldn't play them if they did. But I've got all the GTA's for psx and ps2 yet there is nothing to show for chinatown wars

A bit like downloading music it's just not as satisfying as having the cd. It's about consumption, not collection
