Recently I noticed when putting a UMD in my PSP that it doesn't *click* in, I have to hold the UMD down when trying to close the door. I don't remember dropping the PSP or anything happening to it recently for it to be doing this. Also, the UMD door doesn't sit flush with the back of the PSP, is this a common problem?

Is there a way to fix it? Could it get repaired under warranty (if I send it back)? If not how much would it be to get it repaired and are there any places in Brisbane which do PSP repairs?

the door doesnt sit exactly 'flush' or smooth. it's a common problem that doesnt affect gameplay. however, seeing as your umd door doesn't even click to close properly, you should go get it fixed on your warranty or replaced.

sony are pretty awesome in handling such issues these days tho. You ring em on the 1300 365 911, theyll email u a barcode, take the psp to the Post office with barcode, and thats it, aust post pack it and sony pays. -all with a weeks turnaround...
I did write them a note saying how my screen wasnt scratched at all cos of all the screen protectors I had and to make sure my 'new' one wasnt scratched, and it wasnt - so, alll happy here!

when i first got my PSP i screwed it up by tighteing the screws on the 4Gamers sun protector or something like that and the UMD door Jammed... it wouldnt open at all... i went to games wizards and they replaced it so meh
