i was just wondering if you could pre order the ps3 yet and were to do so and just want to no will you get any games with the package n stuff you no like ,, could you tell me what you wood get with the package if you have seen any weere around

That means i just paid for a console and 4 games.
The packages are not 100% percent confirmed yet and as such i doubt they will be on the site yet .
I would keep checking back though as i pr ordered mine for £800 with the games.
Not great with exchange rates but i think thats cheaper than $1000 im sure some one will prove me wrong with that

Dude i own a 360 and i love it.
I was the guy that got flamed for statin the 360 power compared to the ps3.
Dont want to instigate and arguments again.
Im going to be honest the only reason for me getting a ps3 is FFX111 .
There will be other games that only sony can giv me that microsoft cant.
At the end of the day its all down to personal preference and what suits you .

Considering what you get in the console 60gb harddrive, blue-ray player etc...... but is expensive compared to the other consoles.Remember when the PS2 came out it was $750 then slowly the price came down.

If that's what you think the price is gonna be, I think you'd have some money left over. Sony Australia's already set the price as 999 Aus for the premium remember... So if it did go up for any reason, I doubt it would be by a 1000 bucks...

This waiting for closer to the release date idea to get a better price. All you got to do is pre-order whenever you want, and don't pay the full amount until closer to release date. They can't charge you more than everyone else just because you pre-ordered when the price was higher. Besides, you can have something pre-ordered and walk in any time and say you've changed your mind and get all your cash back, and then go buy somewhere else. I've done it at EB a couple of times. (Unless places have fine print I guess, but you don't normally sign anything)...

Even if you've paid the full amount, you should be able to get a refund of the difference to the discounted price. This is my understanding anyway. Someone please correct me soon so I can cancel my preorder if I need to

And whilst sony are at it, why dont they just give there console away then every1 will own a PS3. $450 $300 is a ridicilous price. Sony are Going to be bigging up the ps3 soon showing off it power and so on and so forth.
I estimate the unit reaching the 650 GBP mark , but unfortunatly most stores will only let you pre-order a bundle. thats where the steep pricing comes in.
What you have to remember is that most ( Pretty much all) Console manufacturers all go to the same church.
