Hey everyone,

sorry ... I'm a newbie but I've got a bit of a problem. I've got a white PSP running firmware 3.03. Just got a 2GB MS Pro Duo and decided to switch to it, so I've formated the new stick and started playing Smackdown vs. Raw 06. Now when I save a game, it says that it's been saved with no problems at all. HOWEVER, when I exit the UMD or switch games then come back to it and try to load the saved game ... it's unsuccessful at loading the saved file. Does anyone know how to possibly fix this problem? Is it because the card is too big for the PSP to read using the current firmware? Need help.

It's a Sony brand for PSP ... got it from ebay - HK I think. It works, cause the card memory diplays "1968MB free" or some figure like that. PLUS I downloaded a saved game from here and that loaded fine. It seems like when I save from my own PSP it saves 'fine' ... but then can't read that same file when I want to load it (where as if I copy the saved game from this site and copy it through USB it's fine).

Really wierd.

Nah mate, it's brand new. I've put music and videos on the card, everything works fine. Just the save game that doesn't work ... no matter how many time I restart loading and saving the game again. =(

U should be able to play smackdown with the save from your old mem card, then pause the game switch mem cards, play some more, then save it, and you shouldnt lose any progress. I guess just make sure it saves properly, and exit the game by pressing home, then see if it saved properly!

Yup, or the card could be faulty... I have a 2GB MS Highspeed stick and never had any issues with it (apart from the time I tried using it in a 1.5 PSP (which obviously didn't work properly))

Thanks for your replies, I've actually tried all of that. AND yeh, it did work a couple of times but now it's back to saying that the saved game can't load ... I back up my games on computer now ... coz even when I switch cards, the saved game is corrupted. Life's hard at the moment. I think it's probably a problem with when the games is actually saving onto the card.

mmmmm yeh I think it's the psp ... cause it doesn't quite save properly ALL the time .... it's like on off. No issues with loading as I dl some saved games from this site and they work fine. So it's a saving issue which leads to the problem loading a game. Bugger.
