Games Trade & Sell \ THINKING of selling my psp

Daveproc says:

Hey i bought a psp not long ago and the novelty has kinda worn off on me, plus i could use some extra money. I'm still thinking about whether or not I should sell it.
It is a white psp with a 1gig card (the card is genuine i bought it from a store)
It is firmware 3.40 oE.
Anyone Intereseted? Give me an offer.
Thanks

@davery22...if you can find me a psp for $100.00 thats relatively brand new ill take it off your hands.....

moral......dont be silly. psp's are still holding their value.

@daveproc.....you either need to be serious about selling it or not. dont just think about it. tell us if it is for sale or not

I would pay no more than $100 for it, i'm not being silly. If you paid anymore than $150, you'd be ripping yourself off

There's a PSP with a cracked LCD screen selling for $80 USD on PSPiso.

yeah, cracked screen PSP >>>SELLING<<< has it sold yet though?

besides, you can replace the broken screen with a sharp screen for $30!! so that's $110 for a PSP......?????? YOUR POINT repop?

His point Davery is that the PSP is an excellent piece of equipment which even though broken (and if the cracked screen is the only problem with that particular item you will be damn lucky) still holds value. Basically the PSP is one piece of equipment that given the variety it offers certainly demands respect and the price tag that it attracts.
Also keep in mind what was offered. this is a downgraded psp with custom firmware, I don't know if you have checked out other threads concerning custom firmware but there are users out there who would gladly part with $100 just to have CF installed on the PSP they already own
My point in case you wonder.... $100 for the lot = dreaming.

luvmypsp says:

again, we go back to the original post in this thread.......

are we just thinking of selling the psp or we actually selling it. if we are selling the psp can you please give us an indication of how much you would be happy parting with the psp for?

please ignore some of the other posts in this thread. as you can appreciate some of the members in this community want to purchase a psp for nothing.

as STFv1 mentioned.... dreaming

I'd be interested in your PSP if you are selling it, I would consider paying $150 for it, or more.

Na dude, haven't had one in AGES! I'm considering getting a white one now though.. it's so tempting. I got a black one on release date, had it for a while. Sold it, went PSP-less for a few months then got a white one, had that for a few months.

Interested in buying your psp though Daveproc.

but why wont the new ones be downgradeble im shure some person will crack the FW

Yeah big homebrew man! Plus I don't want to spend much money at all, so a new PSP is out of the question, especially a new model.

stonecold says:

The reason im keeping it, is for the games like
D&D Tactics
Silent hill origins
God of War
Manhunt 2
Devil may cry
maybe Gran Turismo
and maybe another GTA

The new slimline psp, the weight factor makes a big difference cause the current one is too heavy in my pocket and the reason why i don't take it with me going out.

JackAz says:

The price of regular PSPs will skyrocket once the Slims come out, that is until the firmware is hacked.

22 Jul 2007 - 13:19 Victoria

Daveproc says:

well i have an offer of 250 includin postage so if anyone can beat that its sold

and i know this is probably pretty unlikely lol but i am saving for new forks for my mtb, so if anyone has any second hand freeride/downhill forks let me know. thanks

22 Jul 2007 - 13:25 corryong

BJ2 says:

ZackAz i don't think that it will skyrocket because even though the new psp is homebrewless at it's release it won't make the old psp's price go up. if anything the original psp's won't skyrocket it will realise it doesn't have enough fuel and crash

plus i recon that the new psp's firmware will be hacked in the first week it comes out

22 Jul 2007 - 16:42 under your bed

BJ2 says:

oh and by the ways, with the new psp can they make it so that instead of making it harder to downgrade just change it's type of firmware as such so that the new psp runs diff firmware ( i know it comes with v3.6 but old psp will get it soon with a few features missing) making it impossible to run v1.5

the only prob is then they have to make fimware updates for both systems

anyone know
