I did solar boat in year 7
we spent the whole term designing a boat that ran on solar power and learnt about boats
then at the end of the term we gots to race it and i came 2nd with a twin hull and the guy who came first just won and he had a twin hull aswell. I just had to go crazy with sharing the power with like 10 LEDs.

ohh. i though you were using the 1.5 volt ones.
once we put a resistor in the AC negative and positive ports. then me friend says the the other kid to turn it on. we run and we saw a massive spark. don't worry, we has the main main off then turned it on using mains. so no one was like near the resistor.

we had the mains with the resistor in it on and everything else of, but the control switch to the room was of, we blew the thing by turning on the AC from the control of the room. The guy who turned it on was like a spacko, he would do anything...

the circuit breaker opened the switch right after the thing blew. there was like black all over the plastic of the mains and we took the wires out with long nose pliers and turned on the circuit breaker and made it look like normal whilst the teacher was recieving a call about his mum in hospital.
