Wi-Fi for Noobs
1.Slinde the WLAN switch on the bottom-left of the PSP up to the ‘on’ position and then turn the PSP on without a UMD in the drive. Now scroll left thought the menu options to the setting menu.
2. Go down to the bottom option, ‘Network Settings’, and press the X button
3. Setting ‘infrastructure mode’ (the other ‘Ad Hoc mode’, on concerns directly linking to other local PSP’s, so there is little need to tamper with these settings) and press X.
4. Choose ‘New Connection’ and you can set up an access point for your PSP.
5. After giving your access point a name if u wish ( you may want to set up several-one for work, 1 for home, etc.) scroll right and go down to the scan option.
6. With any luck, give a quick scan should detect your local broadband device and tell you the strength of the connection. As well as wether or not the connection is encrypted (if so you may need to contact you local provider to find out the WEP key). Select the appropriate one and hit X.
7. Scroll right and save your settings. You can now test your New connection to ensure that the procedure was successful.
