FIFA 08 Description:

Release is around late September - and boy does FIFA 08 promise to be one of the best yet. The antisipation has built up for some time, and this is sure to be a worthy inclusion to the much acclaimed FIFA series.

The introduction of smaller leagues including Australia's very own A-LEAGUE are sure to bring in a bigger fan base, while extra features will keep the faithful intrigued.

New features include:

- Control of the goalkeeper during one-on-one's and while defending set pieces. Word is; defending one-on-one's could take a fair bit of getting used to, as the side on view most people use will create difficulties with judging the keepers movement.

- 'Be a Pro' mode, i can't really describe it, so here's a quote courtesy of IGN: " you select any player from a squad and control him the entire match in what is almost like a third-person soccer game. The new camera system will zoom in and out to continually frame your player, the ball and the goal. If Healy is zipping up the field on a breakaway, the camera will zoom in and shake, just like the Gears of War embedded journalist cam."

- All new Quiz Mode, features thousands of questions. Use the points that you earn, to buy unlockable content, including third kits, videos, and more from the in-game FIFA 08 store.

- Manager mode changes, including pre-season friendlies and board expectations that adapt, depending on how you are performing.

- You can assign each player their own strategy, their location on the field and their own defensive or offensive tactics. Ensuring players are in the right place at the right time.

- An overhaul of gameplay means new manual controls enable you to dictate the play with control over through-passing and crossing.

- 30 featured leagues, 30 locations, or 12,500 recreated players.

Nearly all countries will be featuring their own players on the cover along side Ronaldinho.
