Hey Flame, I came back from HK last December with a PSP, games and some accessories. The savings on the PSP itself is not huge, but the savings on games are enormous. Each PSP game is about 1/3 the price you'd pay in an Australian retail store. So I'd say its worth it to stock up on those.
However you must check that the games are in English. PSP games in HK come in three languages. Chinese, Japanese and English. Make sure to double check before you buy, unless of course you are buying games that don't really require knowledge of additional languages.

The conversion rate when I went was $6.8HK to $1AU. I'm assuming its more now since the $AU has risen yet again?
So I spent about $217 on my PSP, which like I said isn't a huge saving and you won't get your 1 year warranty, but so far my PSP hasn't broken down so I'm not complaining.
Also, HK is a big place so knowing where to buy your games will help you make additional savings. Also if you know any locals or anyone who looks Chinese and can speak Cantonese, get them to come to the shop a
