There is already alternatives to fuel.. Like Carbon cars, oxygen cars.. water... Just whenever a new proto-type comes up the oil companies buy the rights to it because they want their oil to sell, as they know that the other alternatives are better and people in general would prefer to go with that!

its not "If" its "When"

and even with hybrids, we still need oil to run the machines that make them, so without oil. you cant do anything unless the world comes up with a viable solution, oil is even used in making bikes.

then even if bikes were made without oil
air compressors need oil to operate smoothly
even the hand pumps have oil in them.
beleive me it wouldnt be hard to recycle oil, its just everyone who tries to make their invention go, once they get a little close the oil companies buy their idea and throw all the plans away so people go back to them and buy their oil.

we could ALL have hybrids by now, but the OIL companies want MONEY.
and a few 7 digit numbers can change that and they can do it as often as they want 7 digits isnt even a scrape off the surface off what they have put away in their vaults.

Well, crued oil is the worst type of energy to power a car. Why? it isn't renewable. Also NO, if crude oil is gone then compinies will start to use Ethenol for cars. Solar energy to power houses and electricals. For skae they might invent a solar charger for the PSP. But until then we have to deal with polution.
