I have pondered over the last few days that the Brotherhood of the PSP should reform itself into a Brotherhood of the Games Console gang for the my....... sites (please help with name, i am shit at making up names and need help).

The Brotherhood of the PSP has experienced very low membership applications lately (don't think i can remember the last member to apply), partly due to that ugly, bitchy, labour party-esque in-fighting with some of it's former members, but we have moved on from that and are becoming better than ever. ie. the appointment of thegame10 to the position of admin, on our 3rd Brotherhood thread.

So i would like to know what you guys think of expanding ourselves into the other my....... sites, the my360 site is already here and the myDS site is on it's way, i would like the Brotherhood to profit from the success of the my...... franchises and be at the forefront of their expansion.

The Brotherhood has come along way since those early days back in mid-october when Swizzle first proposed this gang and me being the n00b who had only been around for like 2 weeks on the site decided to join up and became the 3rd member of the gang (akwai was 2nd).

So what do you guys think about expanding into the great unknown lol, well the other my........ sites ?, tell us.

I think the main reason that the X crew works so well is that they get some sort of discount. Which is a fantastic marketing strategy! Now why doesn't someone start something like that in this group. Say a free avvy, wallpaper or something - exclusive to the BH!

What do I mean by that? It's not about gangs, it's a tendency for a thread to ignore comments from people that aren't teenagers, in highschool, emo etc.

I'd not be at all surprised if there were members in every gang who feel excluded simply because their contributions are overlooked.

This isn't a bitch about the status quo, just a potential explanation.

As of tomorrow, i will go to the drawing board and look at ways to improve this gangs system. One major issue raised up is that if your not in a gang, your considered 'uncool'. A possible thing which might drive new members away from the site could be some of the cockiness within a certain gang or the gangs morals being played outside of their thread and abusing another gang. Though this doesnt really carry on as much as it did in the early days, it could still be a factor.

As a member and an admin, i think we should make 5 permanent gangs, all with a special name (eg.brotherhood, rated x etc.) There should be one admin and two vice right hand members to be in charge of the gang. (This is just an example because i know swizzle and DJaye respectively run their own gangs). This system will bring togetherness and every now and then, we will hold an inter-gang tournament, either involving PSP gameplay over the net or maybe a quiz or something like that.

These are just some ideas, please feel free to question or ad anything else towards your own interest in a way to assist. We all have to work together to create and build this community up to be the BEST Aussie PSP site.
