Well finally it has been announced, the Nintendo DS Lite will be launched on the 1st of June. This isnt the most suprising thing, the news that it will be launched a whole 10 days before the US! Quite amazing i must say. The RRP of the DS Lite is $199 AUD! Sounds fantastic to me :) The DS will launch only with the white version for the moment, still it's better than nothing.

Ahh....NO! Dude your very very dumb or just one sided. The DS is far more superior than the PSP on many levels. It is completely different to anythin we've seen before, the touch screen is amazing and very responsive. The wide selection adds to the popularity of the DS, very respectable franchises are only on the DS and then you have the inbuilt WiFi, Picto Messaging etc. You cannot say its crummier than the PSP. Both have pros n cons.

:D lol nah he's cool, his opinion counts! Yeh you should get into the DS, great handheld i must say. MP:H is lookin very nice and so too is the New Mario Bros game.

I think of PSP/DS has a kinda older-brother/younger-brother thingy... DS has some innovations, but I kinda think they're ones that aren't necessary to me having an enjoyable gaming experience... The only reason I'd like a touch screen is for PDA functionality... BTW Nickop, PSP has built in wi-fi, remember... Also, I think there is much much functionality to be added to PSP (I think the PSP will really shine when the PS3 is released)...

That being said, I'd love to buy one just so I can get the SNES Mario Allstars on it... Gotta love that first NES mario game, the way you can skip half the levels so easy is hilarious...
