The microSD format was originally created by SanDisk. It was originally called T-Flash, and then TransFlash, before being rechristened microSD when adopted by the SD Card Association (SDA). Other flash card formats approved by the SDA include miniSD and SD.

it was alot easier gettin' it on the E398 (my previous phone) because all i did was get the modified firmware of the E1 flashed onto it.. sorta sad to see that phone go.. sigh

by default, the number of songs is limited to 50 by the software, but you can purchase song upgrades. on my e398 that was modded with e1 firmware, it had a limit of 100 cos it was american firmware.

however, people have figured out a way to hack the song limit so that the it is not limited by the software but rather, limited by the size of your microSD/Tflash

edit: To get iTunes working on the phone, follow the instructions in that link i posted earlier.

and with opera mini you pay for the WAP charges.

If you want to tie up heaps of cash and/or get locked in to an exhaustive contract, just to look 'Supa Cool' to your mates (if you have any), thats your perogative.

Call me stupid, but I like having heaps of spare cash to do more important things in life, IE Paragliding, buying PSP Games, travelling.

$95 bucks for a video flip phone, with MP3 player is good enough for me. Then, I dont have mommy to pick up the tab, do I?
