Guides \ Liberty City Stories & Vice City Stories Cheat Device

What You Need:



Now you listen and you listen good.

  1. Download all of the packs and things you need from above.
  2. Plug your PSP into your computer and put it in USB mode.
  3. If you’re on a CFW under 3.71(if you’re not skip next step) you need to extract lcscheatdevice.prx into PSPmemstick/seplugins.
  4. If you’re on 3.71 or higher extract lcscheatdevice371.prx into PSPmemstick/sepluins.
  5. Open up the ‘seplugins’ folder and right click go to new text document and name it ‘game.txt’(without the ‘’).
  6. Open ‘game.txt and copy this into it if you’re using a FW lower than 3.71 : ms0:/seplugins/lcscheatdevice.prx
  7. Open ‘game.txt and copy this into it if you’re using 3.71 or higher. Copy this into ‘game.txt’(without ‘): ms0:/seplugins /lcscheatdevice371.prx
  8. Now take your PSP out of USB mode and go to recovery mode(Take your battery out or hold the power switch up and then start it back up holding the ‘R’ button.
  9. Go to Advanced/Advanced Settings and press the ‘X’ button on it (once).
  10. When you’ve done that go back to the menu and go to plugins.
  11. If you’re using a FW lower than 3.71 you should see LCSCheatdevice.prx[game] disabled. Click on it.
  12. If your using 3.71 or higher go back to the menu and go to plugins then you should see lcscheatdevice371.prx[game] DISABLED. Click on it and it should say enabled.
  13. Start up LCS and and the cheatdevice should come up. If it doesn’t PM me and I’ll try my best to help.

This only works if you have an unpatched version of lcs. That means you need either the USofA version or the really old, first one out uk one!
