As I said, rust stones will either convert to rust weapons or plain weapons. I have 2 rust stones which convert into SnS and a lance, neither would convert into rust weapons, just iron SnS/lance. Everytime I fail, I reload and do a quest to try again.

I got a rusted hammer, but hammers are useless against wyverns, so I'm trying for the SnS and lance.

ETA: Got a rusted SnS!! Now I need another 40000Z for Eternal Strife... Got a buttload of Earth Crystals already, 99 to be exact, and that's after using 60 ECs to upgarde that rusted SnS twice.

The easiest way, though carve %'s aren't that high, are those tortoise looking dinosaur in the desert. Go to the guild, do a 4-star desert gathering quest where you just put in a paw ticket into the box, kill those dinosaurs and carve the heads/tails. Pretty low carves, like 10%-20%, but you will get medium bones.

The crap thing about the Los vambraces is it only gives +3 attack, I need a pair with +5 attack for large attack up.
