I tried the lance, quite poweful and great defence, but I prefer mobility and hit-and-run tactics with some blocking for SnS.

Blue Ogre's a pair of DS right? Eternal Schism has 182 raw with 510 dragon, quite similar. I'll stick to Eternal Strife until I get to HR3 and go for individual elemetal SnS's. Thundertip (T), Golden Falchion (F), Deadly Battleaxe (P), and Frost Edge (W).

In the meantime, try to get full Ioprey gear, helps tremendously. Once you have full Ioprey, and are comfortable fighting easy (2 or 3* Elder) Kut Ku's, you will be able to fight 4* Guild Kut Ku's and get Monster Bone+'s.
