I've had an iRiver H340 for 2 years wit absolutely no problems: i think it's starting to go down hill however, but i want to keep it as a hard-drive (so don't want to run it till it's last breath)-- i needa scope out the market now (2 years on) as things've changed
I don't want any irrational biases (iPod's just the best) and no irrational slanders (iRiver sux cause it's ugly)
I don't care about the superficialities of the iPod- it doesn't handle better than the iRiver (in my opinion), and it took 2 years to get to the iRiver's level (iRiver has had vid since i got it): don't mind how it's smaller and lighter--
I want a big (gig-wise) mp3 playa...
I want a good player- and it's gotta last at least 2 years... lol Tall order?
No electronic device is perfect- I'm looking for the least crap!
To iPodians- does the iPod work as a Hard-Drive?
The thing i hate most about it (even tho i'm seriously probly gonna buy one) is that it can ONLY work thru iTunes, the thing i love the most about the iRiver is that it works as a HD and doesn't have to sync to work... I want control
