i have a tigh budget of $200
i need a 1.3mp camera
and would prefer a mp3 player...if mp3 needs to have expandable memory :D

i went looking for ages for a phone like this...and found none :(
until my sisters friend came over and showed me his phone and went to the vodafone site to check out the price (cause it had all of the above :D)
it was $289

too much :(

however i looked in advanced search just in case...and found this little doosey :D

Sagem My V-76

i rang vodafone...and so far i know..that i can buy it from a store for $200 outright on prepay...however the sim i get comes with a number...and no credit (this is most likely, it may well come with credit..)
He also said that i could unlock it online...wait 48 hrs...get a unlocking code....and then UNLOCK :D

What'da think?

I would suggest th e sony ericsson p910i pda.
But it only has a VGA camera. Mp3 and upgradable memory stick duos.
I have it and its awsome , like i say though the camera is a little bit of a let down.
The other functions really do make up for the camera though, i just could not live without my movie player .

If you are already with vodafone you wont need to unlock it you just dont use the sim that comes with it however Im guessing you arent?? They are good with unlocking.

I would suggest a LG 3 Phone there about 250 - 300$ and come with VGA camera,video talk,expandable memory,1.3 or higher camera, mp3, radio. basically for those people who are feature creatures and love extra stuff and not just a phone.

my sis got the three u8180....its an okay phone...shes only had it since feb and its starting to run slower...i dont want to get stuck with 3 tho....and everyone else has that u8360 which is $249 and has all i needed...but this one...is new...and sagem is a respectable name...they make high quality phones...and its only cheap cause its a vodafone phone....(but im unlocking to go with Optus)

btw...can anyone suggest the best pre-paid deal to go with for Optus
