Hi Guys,
I know long time no see, but I really have missed you guys, boy have things changed.
Just need some advice on which option to get, I have the choice of getting Telstra bigpond adsl or cable.
The plans I have my eyes on are the following:
Plan speed: Cable
Up to 8000 / 128 kbps ( I don't know what that means, is it 8 megs a second?)
Standard Unlimited* (Bundled)
10gig downloads, slowed to 64kbps after limit.
$29.95 a month for 1 year then back to $59.95 for the 2nd year. ( 2 year contract)
or ADSL2+
Heavy use plan (up to 24Mbps, Not sure if it's as fast as cable)
Unlimited 30gb download, slowd to 64kbps after limit
$59.99
Which is more value for money, is it true cable is faster than adsl? and is it easy to use 10 gigs in a month ( casual surfing, download a few songs and maybe future online gaming - waiting for the Ps3 (Sorry folks)
Any help would be kindly appreciated!
Thanks
