EDIT : Yor Laptop it will work and PSP's connect wirelessley so you don't need anything but you probabley no that.

(so make one 192.168.3.1, and the other 192.168.3.2, or something like that.), and make sure they both have the same subnet mask. (255.255.255.0 is a fairly standard one). (This will all be in network connections, by right clicking the properties of the hopefully already existing 'Local Connection') ....I think.

The other (Easier) way would be to use the Home and Small office network setup wizard in network connections. Probably a lot simpler really.

And that cable is probably fine. Or is it? I can't really remember. I think its supposed to be crossover cables for direct computer to computer.
