I installed dfx8 and decided i didnt want it. And now my sound doesnt work at ALL and i downloaded the drivers again from gigabyte but my sound sitll doesnt work. I tried system restoring but it says that system restore cannot be complete. Please hlep!!!

i remember i had the same problem.... when i had no sp's on xp the only driver i could get was on sp2 so yeah downloads when up that month =]

but yeah i basically use C-Media Wave Device works great =]

try this: right click my comp>go to manage> go to device manager> select your speakers and uninstall> restart your comp> and then it should have the pop up balloon on the restart if it doesnt then go back into device manager and right click on something and go to scan for hardware changes and then install.

if that doesnt work then id contact the manufacturer dude theres nothing more we can do for you

yeh i got c media device and it worked!! but then i reboot the next day and it didnt owkr but it works again. iono.

But i uninstalled the audio drivers but it now works lol.
