There just a few - but the hard thing is he's really grown up for his age so he doesn't like Harry Potter, things like that...

If anyone knows great places to buy games at a reasonable price that would be helpful as well..

I can remember i got the first Grand Theft Auto on PS1 many years ago, That gave me many hours of enjoyment but when it come to ps2 i got it and the same with the PSP, I find this game on PSP very fun and you would get many hours of enjoyment, Also try a JB HI-FI to get your games as you will save, I got games from there the other day and they have dropted them down to $44, So if we like's driving car, Flying planes and helicopters or just plain running around Grand Theft Auto Vice City would be a great game,

Army games...hmmm... Socom would be a good option. For racing games, a budget option would be ridge racer. Best grpahics on psp, good game to. But no replay value. But its only 40 dollars so it might be one of your best choices.

If he likes RTS (games like age of empires where u build armies etc) maybbe Field Commander. Im pretty sure its an RTS and its an army game.
