Sailing to Saipan this winter, via Thursday Island, and Indonesia. Saipan is a few hundered nautical miles south of Japan.

Got myself a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun today, to ward off pirates. lolz. There's heaps of modern day pirates in Indonesian waters. (That reminds me, I aint got a gun permit yet, I bought it off an old coot on the same mooring as me).
