the only thing that will slow it down is size. it is like a 4GB game and a 4GB expansion and then you need to download the patches which would prob be about 2GB. so you need a fair bit of room. you can play it perfectly well on a 256k internet connection as my freind is still on dial-up and i play with a 512MB RAM. so as long as you got enough room and a fair internet connection you should be alright! otherwise if it has a fair bit of stuff on it i dont think your processor would keep up

wow, along with many other mmo's, are designed to run on low end pc's. Since uve got an nvidia card with 256mb ram, im sure it will be just fine.

btw, dont pay for wow. i dont mean dont play it. just, dont pay for it

if you cannot differ between reality and cyber space you do not deserve to sit in front of a computer. you know today i heard that a young dude played WOW so so so much that he couldnt tell between real life and the game and one day he walked onto the street and a truck was comin at him so he cast bubble over himself(a magic move in WOW where you are protected by a sphere which acts as a forcefeild). anyway he put his hands in the air and casted bubble over himself then got killed by a semi trailor. OUCH. its a GAME PEOPLE ! ! ! ! !

oh yer, also ppl would i get by on a 1-2 gb bb plan a month (ill prob be playin wow for 5-6 hours a day, (lol im a mmorpg'aholic) ) so how will that go down? and will a 256/64k speed be enough?

wow uses an average of 1 kb/s. dial up (256k ?) gets about 5 kb/s

1-2 gig a month is crap, but if ur only gonna play wow (which may i say, is very very sad) its fine

OMG guy's u wouldn bloody believe it aye, well i just bought the 14 day trial 4 $2 right!, then iget home and i install it and make a acc then what it wants me to do now is download a the latest patch which is 492mb (the patch is called something like 2.0.1-enUS-patch) um... guys that will take me ages to download , sowhat do i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????/
