umm....no idea what you can do..i suggest, dont go near small areas like between stuff. stay out in the open. when you see it pop out, RUN! GET A SHOVEL! SMASH IT! or i suggest call someone in like snake handlers and such....if only...steve irwin...:(

alright... i know it was like a month ago but....

get a coke can...
half open the top so it would cut your pinky finger if you put it in to far...
tip out the coke and wash it out a bit...
put in about a centimeter of milk in the bottom...
put the can near where you think the snake might be...
check it every now and then...

...snakes like milk and when it puts its head in to get the milk, it cant get it's head out and now you got a snake with a coke can stuck to its head that will smell like milk, but atleast you got it...

depends greatly on size of snake and possibility of venomous bite, but ive always found the humble shovel the best way to deal with a snake (if you don't want to beat its brains in then just gently persuade it to be elsewhere, if it starts to come up the handle run like buggery tho)
