dude i was gonna do that it was gonna cost like... 160$ because theyre hard to get (U.P)

and plus they cant always fix bricks

95% or more of bricked PSP's can be fixed. I have only had one I could not unbrick out of heaps.

Good question. It was (still is) a TA-079 motherboard. The problem was the U.P. chip would not restore the onboard NAND. Talking to some other U.P. installers in other parts of the world and the same problem has popped up a few times. The Epsilon bios just gets stuck in a loop and sits there with the MS light on (not flashing) while restoring the NAND. It can be left for hours with no change. I even re-installed the U.P. on the same board 3 times. I must of spent about 8 hours on it so far :/

There is a good chance the new chip will be able to recover this PSP. It will be a good test on it.
