Well its been announced, and well on the way. THis game is the follow up to my favourite game ever, Total Annihilation. Its a strategy war game, simerliar to Starcraft or Command and Conquer.

TA (Total Annihilation) was the first game ever to introduce 'line of sight' the gameplay. This means if there is a wall infront of a unit with another unit behind they wall, they cannot see each other... Though thats off topic.

Supreme Commander is taking all the best things of TA and adding so many new features that the game will revolutionise all games in this genre.

Akwai, there probably just 'prototype' screenshots, the better screenshots will come when the game is about 80% to 90% done

Yes yes yes, I know graphics wont make a game blah blah. And most of us know that too. The fact that we can get games like age of empire 3 looking so awesome as a strategy game, one is to wonder why these graphics seem so crap especially when this company hasnt really made anything over the last 10 years.

Well its a different company, TA was made by Cavedog, which doesn't exist anymore, it was taken over by Atari I think. This game is being made my Gas Powered Games which is a new company owned by Chris Taylor, the creater of TA.

Strategy games should be illegal on colsoles. I remember when I bought Starcraft on the Nintendo 64 all those years ago...my god was that a pain in the arse to play. And the 2 player co-op mode was horrible! RTS games should stick to PC.

People, we dont need mice for psp games the analogue nub does a good job at replacing a mouse, hell I have a epson presentation remote on my pc and its pointer is similar to the analog stick on a psp and it controls the mous pretty well and the analogue nub on the psp has a lot more control over the cursour (web browser compared to windows) than the remote...

Massive digging up of an old thread. But I have had this game now for a few weeks and highly recommend it to all RTS fans.

Though you MUST have a seriously decent PC. Dual core, 2gb RAM, 7800 series card or higher I recommend.
