I have had my PSP for almost 2yrs now then 2 days ago smashed my screen! just need some advice on wether I should get my screen fixed or to just buy a new 1? Can't make my mind up as my PSP was 1000 seris with Sharp lcd if I get it fixed they'll probably put a Samsung screen in there. Any one whos smashed there screen or anyone with some help would be greatly appreciated!

Screens dont really make a difference... did the case break aswell.... if it did you would be better to invest in a new psp.

Sadly its not under warranty as was an imported model. I suppose that the screens are'nt that different just that when I had my PSP against my mates they did look slightly different. I'll get over i'm just gutted thats all. I loved my PSP!

overtime if the screw is to tight it causes the faceplate to crack

Well I won't go into to much detail but I was a bit drunk and woke up in the morning and was smashed. Not sure what I did. But there you go. It still works! I can play music on it and use its usb to transfer data on to my memory card. Not good to get drunk sometimes!
