Yeah CSS does get boring, but its alot better to play with friends, thats what got me playing CS again (until TF2 came out...... and then COD4) but I still play CSS occasionally when friends are on.

To be honest you don't really have to know what you're doing, just run blindly into the fray firing rockets, or follow someone else. thats what I did.

also be engineer and when you want to set up a turret make sure you set up a dispenser first so supply you with more "metal" so you can upgrade your turret to the rochet launcher & dual minigun.
