for internet you need a wireless internet access point and thats the same with online play. adhoc play is where a person with psp has to be near by to play and infrastructure needs the net connection.

masterfish u dont need a site dude once u r in the game for example "Syphon filter Dark mirror" there is a option that says "infrastructer mode" click on it and thats how u play online.. and of course what OE said u need a wireless router
